Posted by VLCM on Aug 28, 2017 8:17:00 AM

Posted by Jared Quan on Jun 26, 2015 8:00:00 AM

The Iliad is the notorious story of the fall of the Troy to the Greeks in the Trojan War. Regardless of heroes like Achilles or Hector, the war was eventually won with the most unsuspecting tool, the Trojan Horse. Disguised as a victory trophy for the Trojans, the hollowed out horse was used to sneak past Trojan defense lines for the Greeks to end the war. Despite low movie-goer excitement for 3D movies in the beginning years, studios joining the game in 2007 were able to hit the 3D sweet-spot where technological advancements and public thrill started to peak. For the studios that waited until 2010 to pick up the technology - where cost dropped from demand - late-joining studios suffered under those more experienced who were already evaluating a new set of technologies to get ahead in the game.
