Now that you've registered for the Huntsman Golf Classic hosted by VLCM Foundation, you may be wondering what happens next, especially if this is your first year at the event.
First, within 1-2 business days, you should receive a confirmation email from us, with your invoice attached so you can forward it along if needed. If you paid online at the time of your registration, you'll also receive an official receipt from VLCM Foundation that has information you can use to claim the donation on your taxes.
Second, you'll receive brief monthly emails updating you on what's new at VLCM Foundation and at Huntsman Cancer Institute. This will help you remember to keep the event on your calendar, and make sure you know we haven't forgotten you.
Payment of your donation is due by the day before the tournament, and the names of those in your foursome (if applicable) are due September 1st. We'll start reaching out over email or phone with reminders in August if we haven't received those things from you, so there's no need to worry about forgetting.
Lastly, two weeks before the tournament and again the day before the tournament, we'll send you an email you can distribute to foursome members with more detailed information about the event such as weather predictions and a schedule for the day. If you'd like, we can send that email directly to all your foursomes members as long as you provide us with their contact information.
